Vic Schendel is a Colorado nature photographer to the bone. Having lived most of his life in the Western United States, he carries with him an intrepid spirit that takes him from his home in Fort Collins, Colorado to some of the most hard-to-reach canyons, waterfalls, and mountains in America. From Grand Canyon photography to Wyoming nature photos, Vic is intent on capturing the independent spirit of the West on film.

The mysteries of canyons have become a fascination for him. Only visible to those who make a concerted effort to get there, canyons are nonetheless endowed with the artful line and color that could be seen as an abstract art of the wild.
